A. Dalton Watson, 85, of the Chaney Community, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015, in Stephenville.

He was born August 3, 1929, in the Chaney Community to Roy Otis and Violet May White Watson. A. Dalton married Sharon Elaine King February 2, 1950.

A. Dalton owned and operated Watson Construction for many years. His favorite hobby was hunting. He also loved working and spent as much time as possible outdoors. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, neighbor and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his two daughters, Katrina Beyer and Phyllis Gale Watson; grandchildren, Scott Lebredo and wife, Kim, Jason Garrett, Darli Garrett and Chris Lebredo; six great-grandchildren, Spencer Lebredo, Taylor Lebredo, Jake Labredo, Kacy Teague, Garrett Teague and Sofia Lebredo; sister, Darlivon Zink; brother, Bennie Gale Watson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. A. Dalton has gone home to join his wife, Sharon Watson; his parents, Roy and Violet Watson; and many friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 14, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Brother Jackie Auvenshine officiating. Graveside services followed in Alameda Cemetery.
