Adrain L. Barefoot, 69, of Cross Plains, met her Lord and Savior October 31, 2019. She was born March 18, 1950, in Lamesa, Texas to Willard Moultry Anderson and Joyce Omega Tolbert Anderson.

Adrain moved to Cross Plains from Wickett, Texas in 2017. She was a member of Cross Plains First Baptist Church. She retired from the finance industry and was a devoted homemaker as well. Adrain enjoyed many hobbies including being outdoors and fishing. She also loved to attend church retreats and spending time in the house of the Lord. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of three years, James Shelton; daughter, Kristl Spencer; three grandchildren, Tyler, Maylee, Jaylee; sister, Dee Tinker; other extended family and many friends. Adrain was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie (Bare) Martin Barefoot; and her parents, Willard and Joyce Anderson.

Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, November 2, 2019, at 10 a.m. in De Leon Cemetery with Brother Kenneth Wilson officiating. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Adrain.
