Alfredo Coronado Leal, Jr., passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014. He was born December 23, 1937 in Lubbock, Texas to Alfredo Leal, Sr., and Juanita Coronado Leal. He married Maria Hernandez July 18, 1968, in Comanche.
Alfredo moved to De Leon from Lubbock in 1968. He was of the Catholic faith. He loved fishing and hunting arrowheads. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and always gave them a hard time. He was a kind, funny, and outgoing man who would always help anyone in their time of need. He will be missed by many friends and his family.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Leal; sons, Eloy Leal and wife, Connie, Ramiro Leal and wife, Virginia, Eloy Leal and wife, Irene, and Alfredo Leal, III, and wife, Tammy; daughters, Mercy Davis and husband, Jimmy, and Julie Leal and her son, Noah Angulo; grandchildren, Michael, Crystal, Ramiro, Jr., Roxanne, Aaron, Chase, Allisa, Allie, Mari, Jose, Brandi, Benjamin and Natasha; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosa Gonzales and Dora Garcia; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Services were held Friday, July 4, 2014, at the funeral home.
