Alice Darlene (Morris) Brown, 74, of Granbury, Texas, passed away May 21, 2022. She was born to T.L. and Vivian Morris February 18, 1948, in Gorman, Texas.

Darlene was raised in De Leon and graduated with the De Leon Class of 1967. She married her high school sweetheart Ernest Wayne Brown on July 4, 1992. Darlene served the students and faculty of Gonzales ISD and Dublin ISD cafeterias for twenty years. After years of hard work, Darlene and Wayne retired to Granbury Lake in 2006. She enjoyed camping, crocheting, spending time with family and friends, and taking pictures of everything and everyone.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Wayne Brown; children, Danny Belsher and wife, Robin, of Gonzales, Melinda Price and husband, Danny, of Dale; and Cindy Brown of Grand Prairie; brother, Freddie Morris and wife, Peggy, of Saginaw; grandchildren, Presley Belsher, Carley Palomo and husband, Abraham, Vanessa Glass and husband, Cedric Nichols, Bethany Amaro and husband, Joerey, Colby Price and wife, Kelsey, and Bailee Price; great-grandchildren, Landon Palomo, Jayda Glass, Lance and Hazel Nichols, Jacob and Olivia Amaro, and Kaisley Price.

She was preceded in death by her father, T.L. Morris; mother, Vivian Morris; daughter, Rena Brown; and great-niece, Ashlei LeBoeuf.

Darlene will be missed by countless family and friends. Graveside memorial services were held Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in Victor Cemetery with Brother Kenneth Wilson officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Victor Cemetery Association in memory of Darlene Brown.
