Barbara Joann Murdoch's Obituary
Barbara JoAnn Murdoch, 79, of De Leon, went home to her Lord and Savior Friday, December 27, 2013.
She was born September 11, 1934, to Noah Thomas Murdoch and Alvalee Earl Murdoch in Gorman, Texas.
JoAnn was a member of Assembly of God Church of De Leon. She retired as a LVN and had lived in the De Leon community her entire life.
She loved attending church, playing the piano and traveling. She dearly loved her Lord, family and friends.
JoAnn is survived by her aunt, Jewel Morris; numerous cousins; and other extended family.
JoAnn was preceded by her parents; baby brother, Johnny; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside funeral services were held Sunday, December 29, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in Oliver Springs Cemetery. Brother Barry Schahn officiated the services.
