Benjamin Baird Lund, 33, of De Leon, passed away Friday 27, 2017. He was born December 27, 1983, in Eagar, Arizona to Gailyn Baird Lund and Danette Hinton.

Benjamin was most recently employed with Saint-Gobain Abrasives in Stephenville. He enjoyed his job very much and the many friends he made while working there. Benjamin loved to spend time outdoors and he loved fishing and camping. When he was younger, he loved being a Boy Scout and all he learned from scouting. He also enjoyed welding, working on small engines, golfing and skiing. Benjamin was a loving son, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend. He will be missed by all who loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Danette Hinton; father, Gailyn Lund and wife, Tami; maternal grandparents, Leola Smith and Fred Smith; paternal grandmother, Lynn Douglas; uncles, Trenton Lund, Leon Hinton, Rodney Hinton, Wyatt Hinton and Ted Hinton; aunt, Diana Glenn; numerous close cousins; and other extended family. Benjamin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gail and Elnora Lund; maternal grandfather, Farrell Dan Hinton; and uncle, Ross Hinton.

The Hinton and Lund families received friends from 10-12:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home, De Leon.
