Betty Tucker King, age 80, of De Leon, went home to her Lord and Savior Saturday, May 26, 2018. She was born September 25, 1937, in De Leon to Dewey and Agnes Blanton.

Betty lived in De Leon most all of her life and was Baptist. She was a talented seamstress and was employed by a sewing factory for many years. Betty enjoyed quilting and collecting dolls and wind chimes. She also really enjoyed tending to her hummingbirds and visiting with her many friends. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she was devoted to them. She was a selfless and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her two daughters, Judith Delaney and husband, Paul, and Jackie Tucker; brother, Donald Blanton; sister, Charlotte Tucker; daughter of choice, Lupe Sander; step children, Phyllis Dorsett, Darlene Cox and Robbie Payne; grandchildren, Jason Eubanks and wife, Jodi, Amanda Santana, Patricia Wooton and husband, Stephen, Rachel Slape and husband, Billy, and James Delaney and wife, Megan; great-grandchildren, Jason James Eubanks Jr., Austin Eubanks, Christian Santana, Madison Santana, Timothy Wooton, Daniel Wooton, Brayden Brickey, Gavyn Brickey, Logyn Brickey, Emilie Slape, Melanie Delaney and Nathan Delaney; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and other extended family.

Betty was preceded by her husbands, James Tucker and Phillip King; her parents, Dewey and Agnes Blanton; brother, Malcolm Blanton; and step-son, Jerry (Sam) Britt.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Brother Ray Seckinger officiating. Graveside services followed in De Leon Cemetery.
