Bisente Sifuentes Garza, 73, of De Leon, passed away July 24, 2018, with his loving family by his side. He was born January 2, 1945, in Austin, Texas, to Eduardo Garza and Nancy Medellin Garza.

Bisente lived in the De Leon area most all of his life. He was employed in the construction industry for many years. Bisente was Baptist. He enjoyed many hobbies including drawing, artwork, listening to music, building things and working with his hands. He was very talented and could do anything he set his mind to. Bisente loved spending time with his large family and many friends. Family was the most important thing to Bisente. He will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sons, Vicente Garza and wife, Rosario, and Gerald Garza and wife, Laura; daughters, Dominga Barron and husband, Mario, RoseMary Garza, Nancy Davis, Pauline Villareal and husband, Gerardo, Gracie Hancock and husband, James, and Daisy Young and husband, Corey; brothers, Carlos Garza, Chuey (Jessie) Garza, Alfredo Garza and Boy (Reynaldo) Garza; sisters, Gloria G. Rodriguez, Maria Sifuentes Garza and Ernestina (Guera) G. Gonzalez; twenty-seven grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Bisente was preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo and Nancy Garza; son, Trinidad Garza, grandsons, Luis Garza and C.J. Davis; granddaughter, Geraldine Villareal; brothers, Edward (Tito) S. Garza, Henry S. Garza and Arturo Garza.

Graveside funeral services were held Friday, July 27, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. in De Leon Cemetery with Brother Pete Cortez officiating.
