Brenda Jean Utley, 72, of Arlington, went home to her Lord and Savior January 5, 2022. She was born November 15, 1949, in Gorman, Texas to Archie Hall and Louise Claxton Hall. Brenda married A.C. Utley March 27, 1971. He preceded her in death in 2018.

Brenda was a longtime resident of Arlington, Texas having lived there since her twenties.  She was an electronic technician for many years, a career she retired from in 2007. Brenda was a member of Fielder Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, reading, traveling, and listening to music. Brenda was a devoted and loving homemaker for her family. She was always her happiest while spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Louise Hall; daughters, Gayla Mathis and husband, Jim, and Jeana Clendaniel and husband, Jason; grandchildren, Sarah and Ben Mathis, and Cole and Jaci Clendaniel; brother, Bobby Hall and wife, Martha; sisters, Linda Poteet and husband, Fred, Betty Minter and husband, Scott, and Donna Brandstetter and husband, Gene; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family. Brenda has been reunited with her husband, Al; and her father, Archie.

Funeral services celebrating Brenda's life were held Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Brother Paul Winegeart officiating. Interment followed in De Leon Cemetery.
