Carol S. Burleson, 60, of Springtown, Texas peacefully passed away March 30, 2022, in Goldthwaite. She was born November 20, 1961, in Fort Hood, Texas to Karen Dowis Welch and Monroe Hulsey.

Carol grew up in Springtown and was a baker in the grocery industry for many years. She enjoyed painting, crafting, and growing plants. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Johnny Cox, Dusty Huber and wife, Tereasa, and Kyle Huber; mother, Karen Welch; grandchildren, Alexis, Hannah, Todd, Arybella, Nicholas and Corbin; two great-granddaughters; sister, Elizabeth Hulsey; and brother, James Hulsey and wife, Janice. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Welch.

In respect of Carol's final wishes, no public services are planned.
