Carolyn Kokas Warren, 84, of Early, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in Abilene.
She was born April 15, 1929 in Joliet, Illinois, to Thomas Kokas and Irene Policandriotes Kokas. Carolyn was united in marriage to Paul J. Warren September 6, 1953 in Illinois.
Carolyn was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She collected stamps and enjoyed baking. Carolyn was a devoted mother and wife.
She is survived by her sons, Jim Warren and John Warren; sister, Vangie Wolfe and husband, Tony; grandson, Matthew Warren; great-grandson, Aaron; and other extended family.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Warren; parents; and grandson, Clint Warren.
Funeral services were held Friday, September 20, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home. Graveside services followed in De Leon Cemetery. Brother Jackie Auvenshine officiated the services.
