Catarina Molina Leal, age 86, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015, at her home. She was born November 24, 1929, in Three Rivers, Texas to Melesio and Guadalupe Rodriquez Molina.

Catarina was a devoted member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in De Leon. She was a migrant worker and a nurse's aide for many years. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, crocheting, shopping and watching novellas. She was a devoted homemaker and loved her family unconditionally; she was happiest while spending time with them. She was loved and cherished by all who were blessed to have known her and will be dearly missed.

Catarina was married to Santos Leal (deceased) and they had 11 children; Maria Leal (deceased), Santos Leal Jr. (deceased), Dominga Leal, Antonia Villa, Thomas Leal, Fernando Leal, Guadalupe Salyer (deceased), Rudolfo Leal, Annabell Leal, Melesio Leal and Elicia Leal. She was blessed with 33 grandchildren, 74 great grandchildren, and 15 great, great grandchildren who called her "Momo". Her brothers and sisters were Theodore Molina, Bonoficio Molina, Arthuro Molina, Maria Tanguma, Maria Leal, Maggie Urias, Juanita Pena and Jose Molina (deceased).

Funeral Mass was held Monday, December 14, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, De Leon. Graveside services followed in De Leon Cemetery.
