Christopher Ben Larance, 49, of Blanket, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017.

He was born December 21, 1967, in Yoakum, Texas to Billy Joe and Betty Ruth Vickers Larance. Chris married Ganeva Ishmael April 28, 2001.

Chris owned and operated Chris' Place in De Leon for many years after moving from Cisco to Blanket in 2001. He was a talented mechanic and enjoyed working on vehicles and motorcycles. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and camping with this family. Chris loved spending time with his family and close friends. His children were the center of his life. He will be missed beyond measure by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ganeva Larance; sons, Christopher Ryan Larance and Brandon Mikel-Keith Larance; daughters, Courtney Nicole Larance, Ashlie Shiann Larance, and Katlyn Mashell Larance; grandson, Cyler Larance; brothers, Darrell Melton, Jason Larance, Danny Larance and Casey Larance; sister, Amy Green and husband, Paul; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Betty Larance; and sister, Cathy Larance.

Memorial services celebrating Chris' life were held Thursday, June 8, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home. If desired, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in memory of Chris.
