Conan Evelyn Coleman, 97, of Springtown and formerly of De Leon, peacefully passed from this life Friday, April 15, 2022. She was born January 1, 1925, in Winters, Texas to Leonard and Conan Edwards Kennedy.

Evelyn was a member of The Assembly of God. She was a talented seamstress and was employed for many years in the apparel industry. Evelyn also enjoyed quilting. She was loving a mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Halsey Elsworth Coleman; daughter, Jimmie Evelyn Coleman Alvarado and husband, Leo; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and other extended family. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and one sister.

Graveside funeral services celebrating Evelyn's life were held Friday, April 22, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in De Leon Cemetery with Rev. Randy Munter officiating.
