Daniel Christopher Lightfoot, 44, of Burleson, Texas passed from this life Friday, August 11th, 2023. He was born August 6, 1979, in Ft. Worth, Texas to Joe Paul Lightfoot and Christy Stockton.

Daniel was raised in Burleson and graduated with the Burleson High School class of 1997. After high school, Daniel went on to open his own business, Lightfoot Truck and Equipment. He owned and operated his diesel mechanic business in Burleson for over 20 years. When he wasn't working, Daniel enjoyed many hobbies including spending time at the lake, riding motorcycles, and playing his guitar. He was a hard worker, devoted and loving father and son, and loyal friend to many. He will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his daughters, Samantha Nicole Lightfoot, Sierra Lightfoot Mays, and Moriah Leann Lightfoot; father, Joe Paul Lightfoot and stepmother, Sherry Lightfoot; grandchildren, Mallary and Laynee; sister, Jodie Marie Bruce; grandmother, Billie Lightfoot; and nephew, John Bruce. Daniel has been reunited with his mother, Christy Stockton Baxter; grandparents, John and Carol Stockton; gramps, Charles Lightfoot; and uncle, Jay Lightfoot.

Services celebrating Daniel's life were held Friday, August 18, 2023, at Nowlin Anders Funeral Chapel with Pastor Sara Bunker and Pastor Austin Bunker officiating. Interment followed in De Leon Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to CAPA (Comanche All Pets Alive) in memory of Daniel.
