David Glen Stone, 70, of Gorman, passed from this life December 4, 2024, in Abilene. David was born November 3, 1954, in Stamford, Texas to Gloy P. Stone and Alice Leona Henderson Stone.

David lived in De Leon most all of his life. He was a heavy equipment operator and loved anything mechanical. He enjoyed running and working on his farm equipment, especially tractors. He also enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors. He was always working and never had idle hands. He was a loving father to his son Tony and a good friend to many. He will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his son, Tony Stone; sister, Joann Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. He was preceded by his parents and three brothers.

David will be interred in De Leon cemetery at a later date.
