Dela DeLaTorre, 72, of De Leon, passed from this life October 26, 2023, in Brownwood. Dela was born March 6, 1951, to Santigo DeLaTorre and Maria DeLaTorre.

Dela lived in De Leon her entire life and attended De Leon First Baptist Church when she was able. She enjoyed sewing, watching tv, cooking, eating, and spending time with her loving family. Dela was a joy to be around and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Maria DeLaTorre; sisters, Maria Ramirez, Soyla DeLaTorre, Micaela DeLaTorre, and Estella DeLaTorre; nephews, Larry Michael DeLaTorre, Tim DeLaTorre, Chris DeLaTorre, Robert Contu, and David DeLaTorre; nieces, Estella Cantu, Destine DeLaTorre, Toniqua DeLaTorre, Adrianna DeLaTorre, and Amber DeLaTorre; and other extended family. Dela has been reunited with her father, Santigo DeLaTorre; brothers, Santigo DeLaTorre Jr., Juan DeLaTorre, Jessie DeLaTorre, Larry DeLaTorre, and David DeLaTorre.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 30, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in Nowlin Anders Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Paul Winegeart officiating.
