Beatrice Diane Reynolds Koonce, age 90, peacefully passed away December 11, 2024. She was born November 30, 1934, in Dallas, Texas to the late Dr. Avery Melvin Reynolds and Beatrice Alice Austell Reynolds.

Diane was preceded in death by her beloved husband of seventy-two years, James Elton; her son, Kevin Lee Koonce, and brother, Avery M. Reynolds, Jr. Diane is survived by her daughter, Debra Lewis and husband, Clifford, of Comanche; sister, Pala Mikesell of Reeds Spring, Mo.; granddaughter, Anna Davis of Terrill, Texas; great-granddaughter, MaKayla Davis of Settle, WA.

Diane was a hairdresser, she worked at Six Flags, and later she was a school bus driver. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, painting, and was an avid reader. She leaves behind many close friends and family who will miss her beyond measure.

Diane's family would like to thank the nursing staff at Legacy Estate for their attentive love and care of Diane in her final months of life. We know we can't have you back, but knowing you are with God will be our comfort. Goodbye to a wonderful mom.

Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Desdemona Cemetery Pavilion with Pastor Harold Higginbotham officiating.
