Don Moreno Jr., 38 yrs, of Arlington, NE, passed away, February 10, 2023, at his home.

Don was born May 2, 1984, in De Leon, TX, to Don Sr. and Juanita (Gonzalez) Moreno.  He graduated from De Leon High School in 2003.  After moving to Arlington, NE, Don married Liz Romero in April of 2013.

Don was a fantastic employee that worked for S-2 Refuse and Recycling.  He always had a smile on his face. Some of Don's favorite hobbies included camping, fishing, cooking, drawing, and gaming.  He loved the outdoors and one of his favorite activities was ghost hunting.  He had his own YouTube channel "Moreno TV" about ghost hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Liz of Arlington; sons, Alex Romero and Dante Moreno; daughter, Janie Moreno; father, Don Sr. and wife, Gloria, of De Leon, TX; brothers, Adam and Michael Moreno of De Leon; sister, Rosemary Moreno of De Leon; nephews, Cory Moreno, Nathaniel Gonzales, and Lincoln Moreno; and niece, Alize Gonzales.

Don was preceded in death by his mother, Janie; grandpa, Lupe Gonzalez and grandma, Maria Hernandez.

Funeral services celebrating Don's life were held Friday, February 17, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in De Leon Cemetery.
