Donald Frank McBee, 73, of De Leon, passed from this life September 14, 2021. He was born to Frank McBee and Lucille Thomas McBee June 6, 1948, in East Liverpool, Ohio.

Donald proudly served in the United States Army after high school. He was always self employed as a carpenter. Donald was very talented with all kinds of handiwork but was especially gifted with woodworking skills. He enjoyed tinkering with things and spending time outdoors. He loved working on small engines such as lawnmowers. Donald moved to De Leon in 2018 to be near his family.

He is survived by his stepson and caregiver, Chuck Miller and wife, Michelle, numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. He was preceded by his parents and two brothers, Bruce McBee and Roger McBee.

Military graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., in Texas State Veterans Cemetery at 7457 West Lake Road, Abilene, Texas 79601.
