Obituary

Dora Alicia Rangel, 46, of De Leon, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014. She was born December 4, 1967 to Felex Jesus Rangel and Jovita Perez Rangel in Shamrock, Texas.

Dora lived in the De Leon community her entire life. She was a nondenominational Christian. She worked for the City of De Leon as a clerk for many years. Dora enjoyed shopping garage sales and antiquing. She loved to work outside in her yard and visit with people. She was especially proud of her family and friends. She leaves behind many loved ones and will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Flores; grandson, Arrisyn Lindsey; father of her children, Arthur Pete Flores; sisters, Rosa Segura, Marie Rangel and Lucy Rangel; brothers, Jesus Ramos, Orlando Rangel, Freddie Rangel, Jessie Rangel and Fernando Rangel; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family. Dora was preceded by her son, Vince Flores; parents, Jessie and Jovita Rangel; and her step mother, Dominga Rangel.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 19, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at De Leon First United Methodist Church. Graveside services followed in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Comanche County. Brother Kenneth Wilson officiated the services. Serving as pallbearers were Orlando Rangel, Freddie Rangel, Fernando Rangel, Eric Segura, Scott Estrada, Matt Estrada and Jessie Ramos.
