Doug Ralston, 74, of Gorman, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014, with his family at his side. He was born August 3, 1939 to Horace and Gussie Mae Ralston. Doug married Nancy Chernosky December 9, 1999 in Austin.

Doug was a member of Church of Christ of Gorman. He worked many years as a painter in the paint and body repair industry. In his spare time, Doug enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, and friend.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Ralston of Gorman; daughters, Penny Lopez, Amy Skaggs and husband, Don, Teri Ralston and husband, Randy, and Keli Lopez and husband, Bill; step-daughters, Carolyn Harjo and husband, Cliff, and Caren La Grange; step-son, Bobby Lewis; brothers, Greg Ralston and David Ralston; sister, Judy Brooks; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Doug was preceded by his step-son, Jesse Lewis; parents; one great-grandson; and brother, Walter Ralston.
