Douglas Boerner, 77, of Proctor, passed away peacefully April 10, 2021. He was born September 29, 1943, in Comfort, Texas to Walter and Edna Boerner.

Douglas served in the United States Army and was an auto mechanic by trade for many years. He is survived by his son, Walter Leon Boerner and wife, Rhonda; grandchildren, Alicia Boerner, Shelby Boerner Evans and Dwayne Boerner; great grandchildren, Ava Borst, Chad Evans, Jr., and Earline Boerner; sister, Joyce B. Mull; brother, Donald Boerner; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.

Douglas was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Richard Boerner; parents; sister, Pasty Nichols; brothers, Charles Boerner, Alvin W. Boerner and David Boerner.

Douglas requested no public services be held.
