Our young beautiful and charismatic Dylan passed away unexpectedly on June 25, 2021, at the age of 20.

Dylan was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Patricia Lopez Ruse And Danny Hulsey. Dylan was a 2019 Granbury High School graduate and a current resident of Bluff Dale, Texas.

Dylan was a true momma's boy and an outgoing person who never met a stranger. He was very athletic and played soccer for many years and was deeply passionate about fishing. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. Anyone who knew Dylan loved him. His brilliant smile, that little dance to his step, and his captivating personality filled every room.

Dylan will be loved and missed everyday by his mother, Patricia Lopez Ruse and husband, Brian, of Bluff Dale; his father, Danny Hulsey and wife, Nicole, of Granbury; his brother, Trystan Hulsey and wife, Maria, and their son Nolan of Granbury; his brother, Peyton Smith of College Station; his sisters, Kinley Hulsey of Granbury and Breanna Ruse of Bluff Dale; his grandparents, Jesse and Dora Lopez of De Leon, and David and Debbie Simmons of Azle; numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins and so many great friends.

Funeral services celebrating Dylan's life were held Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at De Leon First Baptist Church with Brother Matt Morton officiating. Graveside committal followed in De Leon Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Trystan Hulsey, Payton Smith, Thomas Strange, Carlos Guerrero, Logan Landers, Joerayanthony Torres, Danny Hulsey and Sergio Aguado.

Benefit accounts for Dylan Hulsey have been established at First National Bank of Granbury and First National Bank of Dublin, De Leon, and Gustine.
