Edith Elizabeth Moreno, 49, succumbed to her long 12 year battle with cancer peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on May 11th, 2023. Edith was born the oldest of five on January 25th, 1974.

Fortunately, at an early age, Edith met the love of her life, Gregorio Moreno. The two lived in Houston, Brock, and Dublin before finding their forever home and raising their family in Comanche, Texas. Edith will live on forever etched in the hearts and memories of her children Jayson, LeRoy, Israel, and Judith.

Edith loved being an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church prior to falling ill. She also enjoyed working for Comanche ISD and making a difference for the children she encountered. All who knew Edith, know that she was an avid farmer and gardener with her husband, Greg, and loved to take care of all animals. She sewed in what spare time she had, but ultimately, she was primarily family oriented. Edith's sweet spirit, kind heart, and the love she had for others will be remembered by all who met her.

Edith is survived by her husband, Greg, her sons Jayson, LeRoy, Israel and wife Dyllan, daughter Judith, and granddaughter Marris.

Private family graveside services were held in Lower Greens Creek Cemetery, Dublin. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to CAPA (Comanche All Pets Alive) in memory of Edith.
