Erlinda Navarro, 63, of De Leon, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014, in De Leon. She was born February 7, 1951, in Yancey, Texas, to Juan and Felomina Ybarra.
Erlinda was Catholic and had lived in the De Leon community for over 20 years. She was a homemaker and caretaker to her family. She enjoyed watching novelas and cooking. She loved listening to music, often while dancing. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and planting flowers. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Lorenzo Navarro; sons, Lorenzo Navorro, Jr. and Augustine Navarro; daughters, Rachel Navarro, Mary Villavera and Cynthia Holguin; brothers, Juan Ybarra, Louis Ybarra, Martin Ybarra, Baldo Ybarra and Peter Ybarra; grandchildren, Bianca Holguin, Victor Villareal, Martin Holguin, Selina Holguin, Eric Villareal, Alyssa Holguin, Katerina Navarro, Rudy Navarro, Christopher Navarro, Ann Marie Navarro, Jazlyn Navarro and Lorenzo Navarro, III; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family. Erlinda was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Felomina Ybarra; and her son, Rudy Navarro.
Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in De Leon Cemetery with Father McNamara officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Martin Holguin, Sr., Martin Holguin, Jr., Victor Villareal, Jr., Jake Ybarra, Lorenzo Navarro, Jr., and Eric Villereal.
