Fabian Lee Hernandez, 35, of De Leon, passed from this life Wednesday, October 11, 2023. He was born October 10, 1988, in Hondo, Texas to Ronnie Hernandez and Irma Ybarra.

Fabian was raised in both Hondo and De Leon. He enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, playing basketball, spending time with his many friends, listening to music, and drawing. He was an extremely talented artist and drew many beautiful and inspiring pieces over the years. He loved his children more than anything and always enjoyed spending time with his large family. He worked in construction and was skilled in many different trades. He was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, dad, and friend. He will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him.

Fabian is survived by his stepfather and mother, Hector and Irma Benavides; sons, Christian James Hernandez and Danyn Jaymes Hernandez; daughter, Ava Sofia Hernandez; brother, Ronnie James Hernandez; sister, Iris Lyanna Trevino and husband, Les; grandparents, Roberto and Pilar Hernandez; nephews, Jayden and Adam Trevino; niece, Aria Trevino; numerous other extended family; and many friends. Fabian was preceded in death by his grandpa, Franscisco Ybarra; great-grandparents, Juan Ybarra and Filomena Ybarra; and cousins, Frank and Jason Hernandez.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 20, 2023. Interment followed in De Leon Cemetery.
