Feltz Terrill Sr., 88, died Sunday, March 12, 2017, peacefully at his home. He was born May 11, 1928, in De Leon, Texas to Feltz Terrill and Henry Etta Weatherford Terrill.
He married Lydia Mae Ragsdale on February 15, 1948. Mr. Terrill lived in De Leon his entire life. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Much of his life he was a farmer and rancher. In 1979 he formed Terrill Machine with his eldest son and together they grew the business, which sold antique car parts. His other son joined the business in 1984.
Feltz is survived by his two sons, Feltz Terrill Jr. and wife, Rhonda, of De Leon; Jim Terrill of De Leon; one daughter, Anita Terrill of Stephenville; his brother, Henry Van Terrill of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two nieces, Nancy Lewis and husband, Kevin, of Plainview, Texas; Kim Terrill of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded by his parents, Feltz Terrill on February 22, 1937; Henry Etta Terrill on January 10, 1938; and his wife of 61 years, Lydia Terrill on May 29, 2009.
The Terrill family received friends Wednesday, March 15, 2017, from 5-7:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home.
A private family burial will be held in De Leon Cemetery.
