Florence Iralene Spruill, 81, of Anson and formerly of Carbon, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022. She was born March 13, 1941, in Colusa, California to Ira Sella Tucker and Faye Emily Seckinger Tucker. Florence married Horace Milton Spruill and had a loving marriage. He preceded her in death in 1982.

Florence was a loving and devoted homemaker for her family. She was a member of the St. Joe Baptist Church. She enjoyed many hobbies including quilting, painting, carpentry, and wood burning. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She survived by her three sons, Clay Spruill and wife, Kim, Craig Spruill, and Cliff Spruill; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family. Florence has been reunited with her husband, Milton; parents, Ira Sella Tucker and Faye Emily Seckinger Tucker; brothers, Frank, James, Everett (Doc), and Tom; and sisters, Edna Droke and Ann Keith.

Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in Murray Memorial Cemetery in Carbon with grandson, Hondo Iness, officiating. Pallbearers were Nick Spruill, Chris Spruill, Daniel Spruill, Jr., Hondo Iness, and Jimmy O'Neal. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in memory of Florence.
