Floy Clinton, 88, of Azle, passed away December 5, 2017. She was born November 30, 1929, in Gorman, to Charles E. Miller and Sadie E. Nance Miller. Floy married Charles Robert Clinton June 15, 1954.
Floy graduated from Comyn High School and lived most of her adult life in the Azle area. Floy retired from the medical field after working as a medical transcriptionist for many decades. In her spare time, she loved gardening, spending time outdoors and reading. She was a loving and devoted homemaker, wife and mother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Robert Neal Clinton and wife, Patti Gail; daughter, Anita L. Ahmed and husband, Munir; grandchildren, Qavi Ahmed, Kadija Ahmed and Nabeel Ahmed; sister-in-law, Nelsie Miller; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Floy was preceded by her husband, Charles Robert Clinton; infant daughter, Karen; parents, Charles and Sadie Miller; and brother, Loy Miller.
Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in De Leon Cemetery with Minister Richard Watson officiating.
