Frances Delle Couch, age 86, of De Leon, went home to her Lord and Savior June 26, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 11, 1931, in Jayton, Texas, to Marvin E. Dake and Mattie Juanita Allen Dake. Frances married Lee Wesley Couch January 23, 1952, in Matador, Texas.

Frances was a member of Northside Church in De Leon. She loved her church family just as her own. She worked for many years as a Certified Medicine Aide. Frances had many hobbies including singing, telling stories, and discussing history. She absolutely loved history and could talk for hours about time gone past. She was incredibly honest and always held true to her word. Her greatest joy in life was her family; they meant everything to her. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, memaw, neighbor and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Lukretia Nichols and husband, Nathan; grandchildren, Phil Gene Fox and wife, Pam, April Davis, Christina Webb and husband, David, Amy Nabors and husband, Chris, Shane Nichols and Jacob Fox; great-grandchildren, Brittany Nichols, James Davis, Duncan Davis, Allen Webb and Aaron Webb; one great-great grandson, Zaiden Trevino; nephew, Michael Jones and wife, Denise; nieces, Tammy Dake, Robin Kanady and husband, Doyle, and DeDe Morgan and husband, Kevin; ex son-in-law, Phil Fox, Sr. and wife, Becky; and other extended family.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Wesley Couch; daughters, Julie Couch and Kayla Couch; parents, Marvin and Mattie Dake; brother, Willard Dake; and sister, Marva Jones.
