Frances Roberta "Ro" Keith, 83, a lifelong resident of De Leon, Texas, peacefully passed away on July 6, 2026.
Frances was born on January 15, 1943, in Gorman, Texas, to Robert T. and Opal Swinney. She married the love of her life, Don Ray Keith, on April 13, 1963, and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and love.
Frances graduated from De Leon High School in 1961. She was a devoted homemaker who lovingly cared for her family throughout her life. She also worked as a florist at De Leon Floral, where her exceptional talent for floral design and creative craftsmanship brought joy to countless others. Gifted with a creative spirit, Frances enjoyed arranging flowers, sewing, gardening, canning, and crafting.
A wonderful cook, Frances found her greatest happiness in preparing delicious meals and gathering her loved ones around the table. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and hospitality, where family and friends always felt welcomed and cared for.
Frances will be remembered as a devoted wife, a loving and attentive mother, a doting grandmother, a cherished sister and aunt, and a dear friend to many. Her kindness, creativity, generous heart, and love for her family will leave a lasting legacy in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Ray Keith; daughter, Becky Ann Keith; grandchildren, Kelci Oh and husband, Bradley, Colton Feist, Elizabeth Keith, Massey Keith, and Aleah Keith; great-grandchildren, Kenneth Feist and Keith Oh; numerous nieces, nephews; and other extended family. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Opal Swinney; brother, Donald Swinney; and sister, Carolyn Swinney.
Graveside funeral services were held Friday, July 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Round Grove Cemetery with Brother Jim Farley officiating. If desired, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Frances. Condolences may be offered online at www.nowlinandersfh.com.
