Frank R. Thomas, 87, of Granbury, Texas passed away January 11, 2021. He was born April 27, 1933, in Ft. Worth, Texas. Frank married Mona Kimmell and they enjoyed many years of loving marriage until her passing in 1999.

Frank was raised in Ft. Worth and attended North Texas University. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge from the military, he went to work for the United States Postal Service eventually retiring after several decades of dedicated service.  He lived in De Leon with his wife, Mona, for about 15 years. They were members of Fair Haven Baptist Church. After her passing, he moved to Granbury to be close to his brother and his family. Frank enjoyed visiting with family and friends and loved to spend time outdoors fishing. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his brother, Cecil B. Thomas and wife, Veneta; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family. He has been reunited with this wife, Mona; parents, Earl A. Thomas and Lily Mae Kirkpatrick Thomas; sister, Earlene Jones; and  brothers, Jack Wade and Edgar Thomas.

Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. in De Leon Cemetery with Brother Kenneth Wilson officiating.
