Glen Norman Gore, 84, of Houston, Texas, passed peacefully from this life on August 22, 2026. He was born October 30, 1941, in Tyler, Texas, to Harold and Aline Shirley Gore.
Glen married Peggy Thornton on September 29, 1969. They shared a loving marriage until her passing in 2019.
Glen proudly served in the United States Navy for four years. He later retired from ADT after many years as an alarm installer. He enjoyed woodworking, horseback riding, target shooting, and camping. Above all, Glen’s greatest joy in life was his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and a loyal friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Glen is survived by his sons, James Gore and Will Gore; daughter, Debbie Fojtik and husband, Lewis; grandchildren, Kathrine Gore, Vail Fojtik, Lou Fojtik, and Benjamin Fojtik; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy; his parents; and two sisters.
Graveside services with Navy honors were held Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at De Leon Cemetery, with Rev. Kaiya Kershaw officiating.
