Glenda Smith, 71, of Gorman, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, in Eastland. She was born March 13, 1950, to Oliver Grumbles and Marie Barnes Grumbles in San Saba, Texas.

Glenda was employed for many years in housekeeping in the nursing home industry. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and spending as much time as possible with her family. Her grandchildren meant everything to her. She will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters, Tracy Trevino and husband, Tommy, and April Fisher and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Wade Cariker, Jonathan Flores, Tommy J. Trevino, Thomas Trevino, Jasmine Moore, Justice Fisher and Kay Fisher; brother, Don Grumbles; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Smith; her parents; and twelve siblings.

Graveside funeral services were held Thursday, March 17 ^th at 1:00 p.m. in Howard Cemetery with Brother Kenneth Wilson officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Tommy Trevino, Tommy J. Trevino, Thomas Trevino, Darren Renfro, Jonathan Flores and Wade Cariker.
