Harley Ennis Lacy, 91, peacefully passed from this life January 5, 2026, at Stephenville Nursing and Rehab. He was born September 3, 1934, in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Isaac L. Lacy and May Hook Lacy. Harley married Dorothy Tillery on January 24, 1951, in Oklahoma City.
Harley proudly served in the United States Army for eight years during the Korean Crisis. After completion of his military service, Harley was employed as a maintenance foreman for a steel mill company for many decades. Harley and Dorothy lived in the De Leon community since 1986, having previously lived in Burleson, Texas. He attended St. Joe Baptist Church for many years and was a devoted follower of Christ. He enjoyed reading and spending time outdoors. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. Harley will be missed beyond measure by all who loved him.
He is survived by his children, Gayle Lacy, Carla Reeves and husband, Rob, Debbie Ryan and husband, Mike, and Kristie Reeves and husband, Guy; grandchildren, Julie Mudd, Rebekah Reeves, Bob Reeves, Rachael Thalken, Josh Smith, Keli Osborn, Bree Smith, Jake Smith, Jason Skyles, and Taylor Skyles; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Chris, Anika, Gabe, Lily, Asya, Ethan, Chloe, Ashlyn, Cailin, Oli, Chasleigh, Ripley, Nova, Shiloh, Chloe, Julian, Layla, Ashtyn, Molly, and David; great-great grandchildren, Quade, River, Emma, Levi, Everlee, Eloise, Melody, Ezra, Everett, and Olivia; sister, Vivian Lacy; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Harley has been reunited with his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Jennifer Ryan; parents, Isaac and May Lacy; siblings, Lorita Arai, Donald Lacy, Pat Evans, and Walter Lacy.
Graveside funeral services celebrating Harley's life were held Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Comanche.
