Feb 3, 1942 — Jul 30, 2019
Helen Mae Plaunty, 77, of De Leon, went home to her Lord and Savior July 30, 2019. She was born February 3, 1942, in Rifle, Colorado to Theodore Stone and Shirley Mae Kemper Stone. Helen married Frank Plaunty July 23, 1961.
Frank and Helen moved to the De Leon area from Arizona in 2000. Frank's military career allowed them to live all over the United States prior to settling in Comanche County for retirement. She loved to play Bingo and was a long-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 693. Her family was her greatest joy in life. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Helen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
