Ila Jo Sharp, 88, of Comanche, went home to her Lord and Savior February 24, 2023. She was born May 19, 1934, in Bowie, Texas to Virgil and Lacie Blasingame Shifflett. Ila married L.W. Sharp February 6, 1954.

Ila was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She worked as a waitress for many years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, fishing, and gardening. She was always her happiest while spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Riffe and husband, Al; grandchildren, Kirby Riffe and wife, Elaine, Harley Riffe and wife, Tommie Lynn, and Malla Strawbridge; eight great- grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; sisters, Myrtle Shifflett and husband, Francisco; and Pat Collins; brother, V.C. Shifflett; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Ila has been reunited with her husband, parents, and brother, Herman. No services are currently scheduled.
