Jan Nance of Plano, Texas passed way on July 11, 2026. He was born August 20, 1953, to Francis G. Nance and Betty Jean Hemphill Nance.

Jan will be interred in the De Leon Cemetery alongside his father and mother. His father, Francis (known as Ty), grew up in De Leon and loved De Leon. Ty's father, William Walter Nance, was a prominent business man and poultry farmer in De Leon. Ty's mother was Louise Kinchen. Both are interred in the De Leon Cemetery.

Jan is survived by his brother, William Allen Nance, and sister, Mary Louise Nance.
