Janet Chandler Sanders, 61, of De Leon, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017, at her home. She was born December 8, 1955, in Gorman to J.L. and Cora Lee Chandler. Janet married Olen Ray Sanders July 4, 1992.

Janet lived in the De Leon community for most of her life. She worked as an office manager for numerous nursing homes throughout her career. Most recently, she was employed as the Area Business Office Manager for Ticknor Enterprises. Janet enjoyed scrapbooking, making dolls, camping, and spending time outdoors. She also loved taking vacations and being with her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her family and her many friends were the center of her life and she will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Olen Ray Sanders; sons, Derrik Adams and Jeremy Sanders; mother, Cora Lee Alexander Merworth; brother, Wiley Chandler and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Dadrian Ercanbrack, Brooklyn Ercanbrack, Diesel Ercanbrack and Haleigh Rae Lemon; beloved nieces, Tina Ercanbrack, Maranda Bell and Mischa Chandler; nephew, Michael Chandler; other extended family; and many loving friends.

Janet was preceded in death by her father, J.L.Chandler; son, Mark Leif Sanders; and aunt, LaRue Law.

Funeral services were held Thursday, November 16, at 1:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Pastor Lowell Ercanbrack officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Brent Hagood, Chris Luna, Ray Flora, Philip Alexander, John Craig and John Sanders. Graveside services followed in De Leon Cemetery.
