Jimmie (King) Beaver, 87, of De Leon, passed peacefully from this life Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at De Leon Nursing and Rehab. She was born September 27, 1935, in Georgetown, Texas to Hoover and Lavenia (Spears) King. Jimmie married Morris Daniel Beaver December 1, 1961.

Jimmie worked for many years as a caregiver for the elderly. She loved being able to assist her clients with their day-to-day activities and provide love and care for them. Her family was her greatest joy in life, especially her grandchildren; she loved them all dearly. Jimmie was a talented cook and baker. She would make from scratch the best desserts and breads. She also thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors. She loved to camp, fish, and be in nature with her family. She had such a kind and outgoing personality and was just a lover of life. Jimmie knew no strangers and always shared joy wherever she went. She will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeannie Hepburn and husband, Terry; sons, Morris Beaver, Gail Beaver, and Don Beaver and wife, Janet; granddaughter, Crystal Nabors and husband, Ben; grandson, Brent Hepburn; great grandchildren, Noble Nabors, Carsynn Nabors, Eli Hepburn, Loghan Armstrong, Colby Beaver, Dahlton Beaver, Kaleigh Beaver and Maddy Beaver; and other extended family. Jimmie has been reunited with her husband, Morris; and her parents, Hoover and Lavenia King.

Jimmie was interred in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Georgetown beside her husband Morris in a private family graveside committal.
