Joe
Beach
Sep 9, 1943 — Feb 24, 2020
Joe Beach, 76, of De Leon, peacefully passed away February 24, 2020, in Stephenville. He was born September 9, 1943, in Llano, Texas to Alton Beach and Lora Redding Beach.
Joe lived in the De Leon area most all of his life. Joe was employed for Chevron Company for many decades working offshore drilling and after he retired from Chevron he began farming and ranching. He was a longtime member of De Leon First United Methodist Church and he loved his church family dearly. He was a Master Mason and a member of the Armstrong Lodge #445. He loved his masonic brothers. They were family to him and he was extremely grateful for the friendships he built while serving in the Masonic Lodge. Joe was a witty man with a quick sense of humor. He always kept his family and many friends laughing. He enjoyed barbecuing and was an extremely talented cook. He was especially fond of his dog, Buster. Joe was an avid collector of knives and other antiques. He was a devoted and loving dad and friend to many. He will be missed by all who loved him.
Surviving Joe are his four daughters, Whitney Lee Beach, Callie Jo Beach, Tarla Beach and Neosha Beach; nephew, Buddy Beach; niece, Charlotte Ham; and other extended family. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, G.K. Beach and his wife, Linda Beach.
