John Humphries, 60, passed away December 13, 2015. He was born February 14, 1955, in Maywood, California to D.C. Humphries and Bernice Ruth Davis Humphries. John married Terry Jones on June 24, 1978, in Bell Gardens, California.

John was employed at Blanchard Company until 1996. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He was an incredible horse shoe player and enjoyed playing basketball. He was always his happiest while spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Terry Humphries; sons, John Richard Humphries, Jr. and wife, Christine, and Justin Humphries and wife, Rhianna; grandchildren, Joshua Humphries, Olivia Humphries, Noah Humphries and Lane Humphries; mother, Bernice Davis; sisters, Carol Bushman and husband, Dennis, Dixie Carson, Kathy Bundridge and husband, Walt, and Cindy Hearne and husband, Daryl; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. John was preceded in death by his father, D.C. Humphries.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in Sipe Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cory Vaughn, Kyle Kimmel, Justin Humphries, Toby Vaughn, Russell Morganstean, Jesse Morganstean, Chris Nabors and Bradley McCain.
