John T Rauch's Obituary
John T. Rauch, 84, of San Marcos, Texas, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016.
He was born May 30, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio to Clarence and Ruth McWaters Rauch. John was married to Nelda Faye Morgan Rauch.
John retired from the United States Postal Service and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He lived most all of his life in Florida. He loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed fishing. John was a collector of coins and stamps and thoroughly enjoyed music, especially Big Band. He also loved to travel and watch sporting events, especially the San Antonio Spurs. John loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his sons, John Rauch, Jr., and David Rauch and wife, Susan; grandsons, Matthew Rauch and Justin Rauch; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family. John was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda Morgan Rauch; parents, Clarence and Ruth Rauch; and two brothers, Bill and Charles Rauch.
Graveside funeral services were held Sunday, May 15, 2016, at 3:30 p.m. in De Leon Cemetery with James Morgan officiating.
