Johnnie Franklin Rudloff, 93, of De Leon, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015.
He was born August 17, 1921, in Girard, Texas, to Otto and Mary Rudloff. Johnnie married Cora Juanita Pierce in 1981 in New Mexico.
John lived in the De Leon community since 1981 when he and Juanita wed. He proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired as a civil service employee working in soil conservation. John enjoyed fishing, hunting arrowheads, and spending time outdoors. He loved to work and found joy in helping people with odd jobs. He loved to spend time with his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Rudloff of De Leon; daughter, Margaret Stockman; step-daughter, Jeanette Cunningham; step-son, Rocky Bunting and wife, Martha; brother, Otto Rudloff, Jr.; sister, Julia Faye Rudloff; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and other extended family.
John was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmie Dale Rudloff and Connie Lynn Rudloff; step-son, Larry Bunting; three grandsons; parents, Otto Rudloff and Mary McQueen Rudloff; brother, Charles Rudloff; and sister, Myrtle Shunk.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 27, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Brother Brad Bunting officiating. Graveside services followed in De Leon Cemetery.
