Johnny Ray Stewart, 59, of De Leon, passed away January 7, 2019. He was born May 31, 1959, in Anchorage, Alaska to Olin and Esther Stewart.

Johnny moved to De Leon in 1983 with his family. He enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, spending time with his family and friends, and camping.

He is survived by his sons, Joshua Lovelace and Johnny Ray Stewart, Jr.; daughter, Ashley Holland; four grandchildren; mother, Esther Stewart; brothers, Henry Stewart, Roger Stewart and Bobby Stewart; sisters, Patricia Toon and Evelyn Fitzgerald; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family. Johnny was preceded in death by his father; brother, John Henry Stewart; and other extended family.

A service celebrating Johnny's life will be held January 19, 2019, at 1 p.m. at St. Joe Baptist Church, De Leon.
