Joy Liles, 62, of De Leon, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019, at home with her loving family by her side. She was born August 20, 1956, in Colorado City, Texas to Alvin Matejicek and Ibbie Sue Wiseman. Joy was married to James Liles for over fifteen years.

Joy and James moved to De Leon from Grand Prairie in 2018. She was a retired beautician. Joy loved to be outdoors. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, boating and camping. She dearly loved her family and spending time with them. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by husband, James; sons, Wayland Liles, David Matejicek and wife, Lisa, Richard Danny Liles and wife, Sandy, and Kevin Liles; daughters, Shannon Swinney and husband, Shelby, Melissa Johnson and husband, Steve, Rachel Cross and husband, Derick, and Kim Liles; twenty-four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Barrett; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Joy was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service celebrating Joy's life will be held at a later date.
