Obituary

Judy Dean Killebrew, 72, left her earthly home on June 20, 2022, with her loving family by her side and went to join her Lord and Savior. Judy was born to Toy Holt and Wilda Couch Holt in Gorman, Texas on September 28, 1949. She was married to Jerry Wayne Killebrew. To this union three boys were born. Jeffrey Wayne Killebrew, Jason Dean Killebrew, and Christopher Ryan Killebrew.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband and all three sons; her loving parents, Toy and Wilda Holt; her loving in-laws, Delton and Mae Killebrew; three brothers, George Holt, J.C. Holt, and Terry Holt; her sister-in-law, Jennifer Holt; and niece, Anita Goates. Judy is survived by her sister, Ruth Goates (Ace) of Abilene, Texas; brother, Toy Wesley Holt of North Richland Hills, Texas; sisters-in-law, Beulah Holt of Dublin, Texas, Linda Chorn (Mitch) of Potosi, Texas; and brother-in-law, Elton Killebrew of Abilene, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

For the past few years, Judy has resided at Western Hills Nursing Healthcare in Comanche, Texas. We wish to thank her special nurses and caregivers. We also want to say special thanks to special friends Larry Simpson and staff at Simpson Insurance Agency, and special friend Toney Prather and staff of Totelcom Company. Judy's journey in life was a difficult one and one she handled well. She will be greatly missed. We are comforted in knowing that she is now in a much better place and reunited with her loving family.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home Chapel in De Leon with Brother Toy Holt of Gorman officiating and music by Beth Holt of Gorman, Texas. Interment followed in De Leon Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Judy's memory to Hendricks Hospice Care at 1651 Pine Street, Abilene, Texas 79601.
