June Wynon Ross, 86, of De Leon, went home to meet her Lord and Savior June 21, 2021. She was born June 27, 1934, in De Leon, Texas to Jack and Opal Moorehead. June married Charles Ross June 30, 1951, in Comanche.

June lived all her life in the De Leon area. She was a devoted homemaker for her family. She loved to spend time outdoors caring for her yard and garden. She also enjoyed cooking, and spending time with her family. Spending time with her grandson, John Ross Espino, brought her so much joy. June was a selfless wife, mother, loving sister, aunt, and a loyal friend to so many. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters, Wynon Cook and Charla Espino; grandson, John Ross Espino; sisters, Loretta Keith and husband, Billy John, and Gayle Gray and husband, Gary; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Penny Dolezal, Elizabeth Stephens, Jeri and Amanda. June was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ross; mother, Opal Coates Holland; and sons-in-law, Roger Cook and Johnny Espino.

Graveside funeral services celebrating June's life were held Friday, June 25, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the De Leon Cemetery with Pastor Gerald Freeman officiating.
