Kathryn Richman Morton Smart Wright, 97, of De Leon, went home to her Lord and Savior April 16, 2017.

She was born July 4, 1919, in De Leon to Lester Burton Morton and Bertha Ann Clark Morton.

Kathryn was a member of First United Methodist Church of De Leon. She
was employed with Convair Aircraft in Ft. Worth and as a telephone
operator for many years. Kathryn loved all animals, especially cats
and dogs. At any point in her life, she always had two or three of
each. Kathryn loved her family dearly and will be deeply missed by
all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, M.N. Smart, and Wylie
Wright; parents, Lester and Bertha Morton; sisters, Jean Boswell and
Doris Mazzara; infant sister, Ella Marie Morton; and sister-in-law,
Joy Morton.

Kathryn is survived by her brother, Jack Morton; several nephews;
numerous cousins; other extended family; special friend, Doris
Montgomery; and many dear friends.

Graveside funeral services were held Thursday, April 20, 2017, at
1:00 p.m. in De Leon Cemetery.
